Row 3, 2nd card @ CSM&S

That’s how far I am at College of Scripting. It’s going easier than I expected so far, but a lot of this is what I’ve seen in several scripting classes. It’s just taking a bit to sink in I guess, but the boards are easier to learn from I think. In class there’s lots of spam of “Hello, Avatar!”, lots of people asking questions that either aren’t covered under the class or leap ahead and are confusing.
But it does help that I have taken classes, don’t get me wrong. I’ve had a great time so far in the script classes I’ve taken and each one gets easier. It’s not so new that I’m completely flustered at least.
My goal is to make a mailbox that will accept notecards. I have a script that I got off the SL™ forums but when I edited it up, it sort of imploded… oops. Plus it had stuff in it that I didn’t understand, but I think I’m slowly breaking it down. It has timer for some reason that only allows a person to drop a note in within a specific time. I don’t understand that, maybe the object itself was scripted to open or close at a set time frame.
I’m working on making my mailbox Puppeteered (animated with Puppeteer) I have one but I think I imploded that mailbox, first it was opening/closing on it’s own after I set it to touch/step and then.. I sort of broke it. Sooo… that’s okay, it was a very easy project to practice on. No big deal, I’ll make another from the copy I saved.
