Yay!  I am mostly set up now, but if you’ve ever visited me at my other land before.. you know it doesn’t stay the same for long :)  I’m so excited, all this space and I’ve already met a bunch of new tinies!  YAY!

My new house building is up, a new art gallery layout (lookup the tree!), a creek, and 7seas fishing is set back up.  It’s exciting!

I’m not sure who lives a few houses up the way, but they have a really AWESOME swing set!  I loves it.

Time for cat sleepies now, then tomorrow.. I gotta FOCUS.  Got homework to make sure I got done for my teacher-to-be classes!  Wheeeeee!

Plus, now that I rent land.. I need to change the teaching notes I wrote up for my first radio class!  Deed radio to group is so important. Hehe, yay Zayn!  Thanks for the info hehe

Raglan’s Art Walk till June 1st:
Today was great, the art walk at Raglan Shire is lovely.  So much art to see!  I did a walk around but I’ll have to go back tomorrow and look again.  Got a chance to speak with a few people who saw my art, everyone’s so nice about it.  I really didn’t know if people would like what I put up.  I don’t really mind if people don’t like it, but it sure is nice to find out people DO like it!
Tiny Avatar Expedition till June 1st:
Ohmygosh!  GO!  Go now!   It is SO fun!  Stand around a bit to let it rez, then walk through the tunnel.  Really go slow, take a good look at it all.  I put some pictures over on SLPics of my walk through.  Super cute avatars, each one with a LM back to the creator’s shop.  I have to go back and check this one again too.

There’s fire extinguishers in some of the tunnels.  That totally cracks me up.

There’s freebies at the very end too, plus some really fun sculpture pieces to play on.  Definitely try the treadmill!  That was great.

Or is this scenario just all kinds of wrong.

Flying around a sim I bump into what looks to be a 16m square plot.  Empty, with banlines.  The problem with this 16m is that it blocks half the doorway into a shop.  I have to find the un-ban-lined area so I can get in.  The land is set with a very high price.  Considerably more than the average 512 would even go for.

Then I realize there’s more of these little plots.

All owned by one person.

They aren’t separate plots, rather they are around 100m (give or take a bit) linked up, but scattered across the landscape to provide maximum aggravation.  So that high price is for a whopping piece of land, about 100m square.

Every one of the smaller pieces blocks the entrance to an area.  Maybe not the doorway, but as I try to fly into someone’s land to look at it I find there’s this little corner blocking me.

Worse yet is one section of the landscape has a row of 16m, corner to corner creating a chain almost.  Blocking the entire open path.  All linked as one bit of land, all set high priced.

Is it just me that finds a problem with this?  I guess I don’t fly around sims often enough to see if this is common acceptable practice, to set tiny plots with high prices and ban lines to try and extort money from another land owner.  Well, that’s what looks like is being done to me, the extortion there.

I think I may start putting those people on my ban list.  Let’s see how many complain to me about being unable to get through.  Especially considering my neighbor has his land set no-public-access.  No one’s banned, just has it set friends only.  Heh.

Seriously, tell me please.. is it just me that finds this to be an offensive practice?

It’s fun and relatively easy.  I think it ends on the 12th, but don’t quote me on that.  The shops are spectacular, everything for sale is lovely.  I couldn’t find all of them, but that’s okay.  Just missing 4, I think I’ll give another walk around to see if I can find them. Sal told me about it yesterday after he saw it over on the Freebie Telegraph Blog.  You should check the blog, lots of neat stuff is found and posted there.  I’m glad they post it all for the rest of us to see, thanks guys!

One of the recent entries is about a rideable kitty out at Pet Shop, Japan!  Sal told me about that in world as well hehe.  Sal is my in-world source for hunts and stuff hehe!  I now have a cute yellowish kitty for my kid AV.  Not to mention some super cute typing animation objects and I dunno what else, I forget.  I bought another kitty AV that has a super cute collar to it eek.  I love it!   I’m thinking about heading back for the puppies in a backpack.  Eek so cute.  The whole place is awesome.

I like NeoRealms too, I just wish casting was easier.  But I love 7seas.  I like traveling the world with Mr. Nomnoms swimming around me.

I’m still working on my Oceonography Database, I even hooked up a 7seas barrel up in my skybox so I can build and fish at the same time.  That… sounds kind of pathetic.

You’re all welcome to fish at my land, there’s fishing areas along the whole strip of my plot.  There’s the lake at the one end, with the 7seas vendor and contest board.  Sometimes I randomly start contests, you’ll just win a trophy but hey.. IT IS A TROPHY!  *nodnodnod*.  Then my land is narrow, the two blue bear head buildings are mine as well.  You can fish all through there.  If you can’t, please let me know!  I’ll move the fishing node a bit to cover better.

Today I took a fun class at College of Second Knowledge on making a bookcase with a menu that gives out notecards, or it could do items too.  That was fun.  I have lots of ideas, maybe for a freebie giving bookshelf.  Hmm… Dunno.

Then later there’s a couple more classes I’m thinking about.  There’s one on scripting this evening but I don’t know if I’ll go.  I could have sworn the last time I saw a class taught by that teacher the cost was quite high for the class.  Must be someone else though, it’s hard to keep the classes straight anymore.  I might go, it’s a 2h class.  Debating if I have enough attention span today to handle it.  Don’t laugh!  I’m serious.

I’m working on setting up HippoVend, I finally bought it.  They do holographic display now, and that’s really what I want.  Plus having it easier to manage my vending units will be nice.  I use Onrez but having holo will make it easier for me to sell tiny homes, vehicles, and outfits I think.  I prefer to SEE what I am looking at to consider buying, rather than going off someone’s crappy picture.

Not that you, dear reader, take crappy photos for your vendors.  I’d never say that <3 hehe

Oh so then later there’s a class at TUI that I ALWAYS miss.  Crap and a half man, I am serious.. every time the class runs.. I totally forget to go.  Tonight, I am going to go.  Which is why I think I’ll skip the scripting class because they run back to back in time frame and I gotta be sure I make this TUi GIMP class.

In my shop (check my profile for LM in world) you can see one of my vehicles.  It’s not for sale yet, I’m still debating if I want to put it up.  I don’t know..  I still don’t feel like my builds are good enough to sell, even though I have some up.  That sounds silly I guess.

Let me know what you think, okay?   I don’t think Teddy will let you have a hug though hehe… I can’t remember if that one is set to let others ride or not.  I don’t think he is.  I have to work on that, unless the standard is only the owner?

I have no idea, I make my own vehicles hehe.

There’s a party out at Opus Free Port tonight from 6pm to 8pm SL time!  It’s a literary party, so I’m dressing up as Sherlock Holmes.  There’s a few signs scattered around with info on the party, clicky and dress up!  Even if you don’t attend the party, I highly recommend exploring Opus Free Port.  I love it :)  Camera back and check out the island shape too!

My teddy is Watson, btw.  He’s so under dressed but he insists he’s fine.

I love Sherlock Holmes stories, particularly the Dancing Men story.  Well actually, any story.  I’d of gone as Hercule Poirot but I am short on time to make an outfit, and I couldn’t find one to purchase.

This Sherlock outfit is sold at Huggy’s by Bloodsong.  It’s under the Costume section, about middle of that short wall there.  There’s Watson, Sherlock, and a paired set but I don’t know if the paired set comes with the bubble/smoke pipe and magnifier glass.  It fits kitties just fine

The magnify glass I’m holding is not part of the set, there’s a different one included.  I’m using one I picked up out at Antiquity Sim.  I also have a nifty pipe from there, but it doesn’t do bubbles.

This is such a neat place.  From the LM point, you can go in a variety of directions.  There’s all kinds of animals to adopt.  I particularly like the undead fish :)  Nomnom..

I also visited AquaShop Gonbe, after seeing the small penguin wandering around on Kuula’s small stage.  A quick check for the creator of the object, and checking his profile..a nd here I was at AquaShop.

I had a bit of trouble navigating the shop, but there’s two areas.  The one you have to click the barely visible doors to get them to open into the big building.  The other is to the side and you can just walk in, and click to TP upstairs.  I had trouble getting things to rez during my visit, so I’ll go back later and scope it out again.

This shop has three tiny AV’s available too, cute penguin ones.
